Yep, to remove old paint and built up grease off steel, regular old fashioned oven cleaner spray works like a charm. May require a bit of wire brushing or scraping in stubborn areas but its all i used on the oil sump pan. To remove rust i use evaporust or white distilled vinegar and let it soak for a few days.

How did you check the flywheel, to make sure its flat enough (where the clutchplate and clutch go) and that too much material hasn't worn off?

I replaced the flywheel with a lightweight one from fidanza and new clutch pressure plate and friction disc. If i was to keep the original flywheel i would have used a dye penetrate and chalk developer to find any cracks (like what they use for doing p.t. on welds) and if it was good id have it turned down at a machine shop but to be honest, replacing the flywheel is just as cost effective as having the old one ground or turned.

12:07 ..I have a N47 head also came and dissarmed the oil sprayer bar.. but how to know if i can set the oil Block plates? If N47 is "internal oil cam"

Go to this video @ 21:36. Remove spark plugs and prime oil system. When the oil spray bar ports are blocked it should come out of the lobes. kzbin.info/www/bejne/hnilaXeEZ6-keLssi=Sxivwc0_JehPrYh_

I would highly recommend getting the manuals "how to rebuild your datsun ohc engine" and "how to modify your datsun ohc engine" by frank honsowetz and tom monroe. The basic assembly is the same across the L series engines with a few exceptions like induction.
