Hi everyone, we’d like to highlight that Roux and Brass n Bounce were developed in collaboration with Divided Souls, with sounds recorded at Louisiana’s Esplanade Studios with The Michael Foster Project. The expansion also includes a project by KLC (Beats by the Pound). We hope this captures a piece of New Orleans’ unique musical spirit, which continues to inspire artists worldwide. The demo aims to showcase how you can explore this duo and create beats inspired by the rich sounds of New Orleans jazz, Second Line, and bounce. Creating a kit based on NOLA sounds but not using Mannie Fresh, is a huge miss for the company. Plus what I'm hearing sounds nothing like NO. smh

I was born and raised in NOLA. That has NOTHING to do with any NOLA specific sounds or styles. What trash. Sounds like every other beat making kit on the market. An insult to NOLA and southeast Louisiana.

Thanks for sharing, feelin the bounce. 🤙 Recently dove into the deep end and purchased the MK3 as my first piece of equipment with no real idea what I'm doing; only music background was being a percussionist for 5 years in school over 20yrs ago. 😅 Been just pushing buttons till I figure out whats what and videos like this have been really helpful figuring out how to operate this maschine, starting to get some cohesive sounds. With it being my only piece of equipment currently, any advice on crucial additions like whats that keyboard? Sorry for the lengthy comment just stoked to dive deeper! 🧐

Nice, but where is the Amapiano expansion and Play instrument? I have been waiting for THAT niche musical genre to get some exposure - but maybe it is my fault for never suggesting this to NI directly...

As an former employee and southern native, I most certainly agree. Like I said in a comment before, A MISSED OPPORTUNITY for a native that already produces in that sound. Appropriating Louisiana culture lol I've seen it all

No New Orleans Bounce (Rap / Jazz / Zydeco). This totally makes me regret my recent Komplete 15 upgrade. I had this in my cart then something told to see if there was a video out. Lord behold 😤

I feel you lol! It was definitely a challenge to step out of my comfort zone and try making something I was unfamiliar with. I got to discover a lot of dope music while making this though!
