They straight up they killed DFA, and I'm mad it was the best primary weapon to roll drop mag. TLDR at the bottom. Drop mag used to be "dump your magazine on reload, but gain +50 reload speed". Insane. Very strong. Unique. Its a reload perk without needing to waste one of the last two columns on it. It's surplus level reload speed, all the time. To compensate, every single gun that could roll drop mag had a very low magazine stat. DFA, transfiguration, etc. When they nerfed it, it went from +50 to +30 reload speed, and instead of dumping the mag, it lowers mag size to account for infinite primary ammo, separating the low magazine from being part of the weapon, to being park of the perk. Here's the thing: they didn't buff all the low mag sizes on these weapons back up to account for it, and then they made it not roll on anything anyway, so the point was moot. So now you have a 9 magazine hand cannon, without the key perk that originally justified it's low magazine size, and the ONLY reload perk that can even get it up to +30, let alone past +50, is outlaw. The cherry on top? the best second column perk on this gun is now timed payload, which has hard anti-synergy with outlaw. TLDR: Rip drop mag, rip low stats leftover from drop mag, rip perk selection, rip anti-synergy between the best reload perk and the best damage perk that it even rolls. The fixed roll is arguably better.

using armor as shard storage is wasting space. you can break shards all the way down to cores, and store effectively 10 shards per inventory slot with no limit. enhance armor to 10 with a shard, then dismantle, you get some prisms, then enhance to 7 with prisms, you get cores back. cores stack to 999 which turns into 10 shards whenever you combine them back up.

ships are also poor glimmer storage. You can buy blue transmats for glimmer and turn them into purples, dismantle them, then your glimmer is stored as legendary shards. you can buy glimmer with legendary shards, so you're storing with no limit. all you have to do is make a habit of buying a few transmats whenever your ship is flying, and converting them whenever you go to tower.
