Trust me when I say I was a person who always found it so cringe when someone will type their heart out in the comment section thinking they'll get noticed by their favourite creators but today, i do get it. Not to be noticed, but to express my emotions about how I relate to you guys now. I found Daughter, from their track "still" and back then I got so submerged in it without even a boyfriend to feel those lyrics for. Then, i discovered new songs and a newer relationship, love, maybe. I found this song when it dropped, out of all the songs in the album the words "i won't hold you back-" hit me, at that moment I was going through sleepless nights and constant betrayal from my back then partner. This song helped me find myself, it maybe wasn't life saving but it was that small push I needed, alright. I am listening to this studio recording now and the memories aren't gone but everything hurts a lot less. I won't suggest giving someone chances till you feel numb, don't be like me, cut ties before it starts rusting. I do love your songs, @ohdaughter.

I love this songs but listening to it after a breakup hits hard - specifically the part "i will meet you on another planet if the plans change" because it brings sort of a fake hope that things could be resolved and our paths could cross again.
