First things first, thank you Bastiaan for suggesting filming this and doing it. I could really appreciate every minute of it. My heart could see the embodiment of Tamino´s creative process into the wickerman, each idea of rhythm and lyrics intertwined to sustain the perseverance of its artist in the middle of an empty page. The sneak peek of him tasting his food and knowing it wasn’t ready was just the same as seeing him tasting the new guitar accords and sounds and knowing that they’re not quite yet at the right temperature. Behind all this, the wind never gave up, and neither did the artist. The architecture of his seclusion was perfectly captured by the windy house, as well, and primarily by, the lonely cave as dark as his usual black sweater, keeping the grace of monotony that sets the perfect scenario for the appreciation of design. The flame burning inside the wickerman kindled mine, putting it to beat at the pace of a patient steady drum while walking into a road of anticipation and excitement. This and more, the film talked to me. I can´t wait to hear this second album. Tamino, your music gives a warm sound to life.

Hi. I’m a filmmaker, yet I was lost my motivation. I forgot why do I love this, I forgot why I chose this. This is the first thing I saw when I woke up today, a part of a diary. This tells me lots of things, but mostly it reminded me why I started this. I remembered what I love. This means a lot to me, I deeply thank you…

This touched some little feeling deep inside that I haven't felt in awhile.. a little flame haha. something from childhood. I don't know how to explain it really. That quiet space before anyone wakes.. when you're alone with your thoughts, creating worlds, connecting with nature, with the truest form of who you are. Singing to the plants and bugs. I don't know. It pulls at something in me to create again..

I hope tamino knows how important his music is to some people. I've been listening to you since the release of your first EP and i have never resonated with another artists music than i have with yours. No piece of art has ever made me stare into the city line as i sat on a bench, forgetting my own thoughts because i was so indulged into the notes. 'Amir' has been through a lot of memories with me, shaped a lot of thoughts and emotions. 'Sahar' came out in a time where i couldn't express myself through my art and i couldn't find any art that i could hold on to. And for a person like me, not having any art to hold on to means losing hold of myself as well. So when i listened to sahar with it's phenomenal instrumentals and oddly resonating lyrics that fit into my situation almost perfectly, i finally could feel an image of myself form once again. I remember thinking to myself 'If a person i dont know and will never know made music that expresses my emotions so relevantly, this means no matter how lost i feel right now im oddly not alone in this existence.' And even if i still struggle with feelings of loneliness, it comforts me that people can somehow be connected through art. I dont know if any of this made sense but thank you Tamino, for making art.

I loved everything about this, watching the creative process of music is always mindblowing to me, how an idea can seemingly come from nowhere and turn into a piece of art. It goes to show that musicians, and any kind of artist really, are truly magicians. But what stood out for me in this film besides that, is how you can see warmth and joy and complicity even though there’s no speaking, how words are not always necessary to show intimacy or how we are feeling. So beautiful!💜
