I think I knew Gemma's mother and father. Cannot be 100% due to the accent, she may have been moved north. If this is the girl I knew, I remember Gemma scooting round on her toddler bike knocking me up early asking for foil as her mum was cooking a roast. A dear little soul, I've often wondered what happened to her and her mum.

Why don't the addicts who appear on podcast like this be honest with their self's and admitt they are are where they are because they want to be
@gimmemore9709 Жыл бұрын
That’s unfair, I’ve known many addicts over the years and most of them are stuck in a cycle of addiction. Childhood trauma and abuse is what keeps them locked into addiction. They feel so worthless and society treats them as worthless so they are locked in this never ending cycle. In Gemma’s case taking her children away was the catalyst for her drug use. She will be forever in this cycle of addiction to numb the pain of losing her babies, the more she numbs the pain the further away her babies get and the cycle continues. Not all addicts are where they are because you want to be.

She wasn't drug addicted before she lost her 3 kids, she also didn't ask for a funked up life with no family to help her.
