I can't stop crying, I miss this so much, when I went to see this concert - I was in a very bad state of mind. This might sound over dramatic but it honestly felt like Daughter were reassuring me that everything was going to be okay, their music is so comforting and beautiful. I'll never forget this night, thank you Daughter💛

So beautiful to read this :___) I've been a fan of Daughter for years but I didn't discover Elena's album as Ex:Re until this year and I've been honestly obsessed with her songs, feeling they can help me with struggles and now I found this version and it's so moving to feel her singing this... So glad to know someone felt this concert that way :)

I have been following Daughter since about 2013, and it's been amazing watching them grow in their sounds and style, but also in their popularity. This performance is, other-worldly. It's amazing, it's gorgeous, it's raw and powerful and emotional. I am put to almost tears every time I watch it. Elena pours her heart out into this performance, into her music, and it's almost chilling to watch, I can basically feel her heartbreak, her sadness, the toughest moments she has lived through. Art is a form of communication, of connection, and she has mastered that form entirely, and it's so beautiful. This band has transformed my life, and I wish I could thank them. With all of my heart, I really wish I could thank them for their art, for the beauty they have created in this world.

Let the water rise Let the ground crack Let me fall inside Lying on my back Lying on my back Dry your smoke-stung eyes So you can see the light You're staring at the sky Watching stars collide Watching stars collide If you leave When I go Find me In the shallows When the time comes On the last day When they start to come down Will you just Will you run away? Will you run away? And let it all rain down From the blood stained clouds Come out, come out, to the sea my love And just Drown with me Drown with me If you leave When I go Find me In the shallows Lying on my back Watching stars collide

Oh my goodness, what can I say?! Just the combination of the lights and colors and visuals, it makes me feel like I'm in a dream somewhere in a magic forest. It's so painfully serene and beautiful, yet agonizing and nostalgic, as per usual for all of their legendary art. I just love it and I cannot die without seeing them live💖
@JulesColour7 жыл бұрын
I and my now gf fell in love talking about the forest whilst listening to this song. We talked about a wolf and a feline cat falling for each other in the forest and soon one dies.... If only Elena could see herself through our eyes, because words will never describe how she can make us feel so....
@SarangSerigala2 жыл бұрын
The very first time I heard this song was in 2014 and I had a crush on someone at work. We shared some likeness, we love watching movies and discovering new songs. One day we talked about Seeking Friend at The End of The World, the plot, the scores and everything. I randomly said that I can't imagine what would I do if the end of the world happened and all of the sudden he said that he'll stay with me, watching world collides, hand in hand while walking on the shores. Stupid me was laughing awkwardly cause I thought he was just joking and I just can't confess how I feel about him, afraid of losing him if I did. Still don't know if he was joking or being serious back then. This song will always be about that moment for the rest of my life. In the end he slipped out of my hands and selfishly ending his own life in 2015, a few weeks before his birthday. Silly Wabbit, you might won't be able to see this but wherever you are now I hope you know that I will always love you. I'm sorry I can't be there on your last day. To Daughter, thank you for simply existing and creating out worldly masterpiece. Songs that I can relate to. Like soundtracks of my life. I wish I could see you guys live before I die.

How can something be so beautiful...Yet still cut so deeply through to the very core of my being, my soul? Words and feelings piercing our hearts with the weight of a legionnaire's spear. One more needle in the pin cushion, and I hope you understand how sincere I am when I say a heartfelt, "Thank you." A brief reprieve from being uncomfortably numb. A small ray of light burning off the mental fog that had been obscuring our vision and leaving us lost in isolation.
