@Mannymoe3 Жыл бұрын
I'd say leave her if need be. I believe the mother was triggered because for once in the mom life by talking to Karamo it was about her and someone cared to understand her then the daughter comes back on stage with energy of, "mom I"m hurting I need you". Not saying the daughter is wrong though not at all, she didn't have a healthy mother figure most her life so it's only natural. Single motherhood is a selfless job and it's a lot of mothers that don't have someone to actually look after them emotionally damn near up until the day they die. Again not saying she shouldn't ditch her mother but I believe she should learn to forgive her.

@nicolewilliams0318 Жыл бұрын
Absolutely! Just fake!
@Mannymoe3 Жыл бұрын
That's tough to say if it was fake or not, you see how she carried on in the beginning I'd say she would of rode that out til the end if Karamo didn't step in. Think about what brought her to apologizing, it wasn't Karamo calling her out saying she's the problem or she's a bad mom, he told her something along the lines of "when does someone ask you how you're feeling?" then she opened up like a book. Don't get me wrong, I'm SOOOOOO for ditching your parents if you need to so you can heal or break the cycle but it doesn't mean they don't love you deep down in their hearts. I believe that version of the mother that said sorry was her young self, the version when she was just as vulnerable as her daughter dealing with the same think she's putting her daughter through.

Karamo has the calm of 100 Buddhist monks. No matter how outrageous his guests get, he remains completely serene. I don’t know how he does it. I thought maybe the mom was a narcissist. Turns out she’s full of hurt, frustration, stress, and lashes out. Hurt people hurt people. I don’t think I could trust her. She is willing to go as low as possible to hurt her own child. She does need counseling. Not to mention she believes this is normal behavior. Ma’am I’ve never called my daughter a B word.

Yeah Karamo broke her down like no other with just "understanding" her feelings. When that mom said sorry in this video it was the version of her that use to be vulnerable, probably the version of her after the first time her mom called her a b word too. That mom probably been just going through the motions ever since that day and it must of been a hell of a shock for Karamo to say, "When do they ask you how you're feeling?".

no matter how mad i get mad at my kids i would NEVER in my life talk to them like that. this is ridiculous. it might never affected her but it affects her so she should take that in consideration and not just how it made her feel.

This made me cry because it sounds like me and my mother.. she wants me to be a strong independent woman and I still want to be that little girl and get that attention and emotional connection with her.. They will make it and get better, honestly them having boundaries and space will definitely make the relationship better

You want/need that from your mother but who is giving that to her because she likely needs it also. You are absolutely right to want that from your mom but single mothers become numb after a while through their selflessness of raising kids sadly that is hard to overcome. Not saying you or anyone doesn't care because we would die for our mothers in a hearbeat for sure but they still need to feel vulnerable, feminine, and submissive time to time.

This mother must hate herself sooo much for acting like that! But she will never ever tell anyone that she has problems with herself and what she did and because of that the daughter has to live her life without hoping her mother will be there for her someday or being g proud of her. She shall leave her BUT then she also should never ever let her own kids be with her or ask her for any kind of help again!

I was 35 when I confronted my mother for letting men behave the same way. I was also told to get over it. But eventually my mom genuinely apologized. We are great 11 yrs later

Karamo you are an amazing Human being!!! my eyes are teary right now as I see myself and my relationship with my mom through those. I really hope her mom works on herself. I can't watch those episodes about mom and child especially daughter issue without crying and there's more mother and daughter's issue outside than I could imagine and realize it's not only me.

I had to separate from my mother. It's been nearly 6 months since we spoke. She is nasty, disrespectful, rude and demeaning to me. I'm much older than Ashley. Those things stay with you. I finally pulled the plug on the relationship. Most of my mysterious aches and pains went away during this time. Mothers, please I beg you, think before you speak.

It’s something about those baby boomer mothers. They think they can say and do what the want! They don’t accept accountability. They feel like they can say and do what they want. They feel like I been through it so you can to. It’s essentially f your feelings. Sis, it best to leave your mother in the past and heal on your own. Be better for your children 💙

MOTHERS AND FATHERS. My father is a baby boomer, and he is messed up. He's so angry and can be extremely mean. He doesn't think he is ever in the wrong. He only will apologize when he needs me, and he repeats old habits that he "apologized" for previously. I love my dad, but he drives me crazy. Their parents did them wrong, and they take it out on their own kids and family members because of it. My mom is Gen X, and she doesn't act this way at all.

I wouldn't want a relationship with someone like that, mother or NOT. She is evil, toxic, uncaring/unloving, and she said her own daughter is dead to her. You don't need any enemies with a mother like hers. SMH!

She has jealousy towards her Daughter & it's a shame! That's why she treats her like that & the daughter should just move on if she is treating her like that & who tells their child they are dead to them! That's just Crazy!! She's A Very Hateful Person!!
