I had a bit of an emotional breakdown/breakthrough to this song about a week ago. Months of trying to purge old emotion. Singing this it all came pouring out. Nice. He starts the compression really early. Maybe he should open up his "throat" completly and compress the voice only at the ends or were it matters. Would give the whole song more (head)room.

I like the songwriting. I want to hear Shinedown's vocalist sing this. Love the song. There are parts where the vocals are pushed, so much that the tone is overtaking the instrumentals.
