I once spent a week delivering Top soil at a home under construction. Then over the weekend the homeowner had a change of mind. Spent all the next week hauling it out! Great 2 weeks of steady work👍

I agree allisons are called slowmatic for a reason and there is never power hitting the wheels when you need it. I like 13 speeds. Hugging the right lane is better then the yellow for someone with little to no experience. When I was a kid my grandma actually dove over the white line because she didnt want a car to hit her thats too close to the yellow. Now days can get pulled over being over the fog line.

Washington coast side. Then there i the also lovely Washington mountain region followed by the high dry Washington interior which has it's own beauty. This from a Canadian who has driven across the state a few times fall, winter, spring and summer. Enjoyed every trip, especially Hwy 20 which is normally closed due to snow in winter.

@Lostagain98592 күн бұрын
Yes yes yes. Manual all day over a automated any day. You said that was a C15. Set at 550 horse? Keep up the good work. Do you have to shovel stuck material very often?
@longblacktrain4112 күн бұрын
"structural fill" what does that mean? 2 to 4?
@DauminiqueTheDumpTruckDriver2 күн бұрын
Structural fill is dirt that will compact and be stable. 2 to 4 is rock or recycled concrete/asphalt that measures minimum of 2” to a max of 4”.
@longblacktrain4112 күн бұрын

I’m right there with ya about the new cabs. It’s a shame paccar ended the old cab for peterbilt and make very few to produce the w900 yet. I hate that big stupid cab. Thankfully I just got a new W900L and not a W990!!

In almost 40 years of driving truck, I drove an automatic in a new Freightliner exactly ONE DAY, and that was enough! I know what you're saying. Todd the retired trucker.
@wgreenjr81Күн бұрын
Please forgive me if you've covered this in the past, but I'm curious if you operate as a pure trucking company, invoicing strictly for the movement of material the end user has purchased from the yard, or do you/your company purchase the material "wholesale" from the yards that you pick up from and resell to your end client?
@buckrowley1506Күн бұрын
beeline construction would rather use a front loader ten times than fill a dump truck a couple of times try a body wrap you could install it yourself make it red next christmas

Wondering why loads are always so light for a 20 yrd tri axle. Couldn't same be accomplished with a tandom with cheaper vehical insurance.
@DauminiqueTheDumpTruckDriver2 күн бұрын
No, this truck is legal for 15 tons. A tandom would only be good for 10-11 tons.
@duanenichols2703Күн бұрын
Tri axle dump trucks are rated for 25 to 35 ton and at 15 tons with computes to 10 .5 yards of material . Being a retired dirt superintendent and if a 20 yard tri axle showed up on one of our jobs with 10.5 of material that would be their last load.
