A long time ago, when I had even less of an idea what I'm doing in this game, I was fighting an NPC with my Cobra III. I was taking a lot of damage (N00B). As it happened, I was acquiring a missile lock when my missile rack suffered a malfunction . . . causing it to simultaneously launch EVERY ROCKET IN THE MAGAZINE. And all of them had a lock on my opponent. He had a baaaaaaad day.

The Mamba when properly loaded out, Is basically a DAM good support ship and its utilization as a SLF launched from a FC, will and or would be extremely, useful.

Greetings CMDR,i couldnt agree more. It can be a very good support ship with specific roles and can really be great at it for sure. I like the general style of the Mamba,and its cockpit...I play mostly plasma so when i build one wasn't so efficient with my favorite loadouts. Now,for 1v1s can be somewhat efficient with most of ships but it needs a lot of dedication so you can make something really great.O>

I watched your videos in a random order. First the newest one, which was suggested by youtube. Now, this was the last video :-( But wait, if i started with the new ones, maybe i forgot about it and can watch it again. No! We never forget about the Knight!! :-D But i will watch it again and again. Just one question about your controls because i train hard in flight assist off. Which buttons do you use for roll on your ps4 controller? Or what is your manouvering layout? Right stick yaw and pitch, left stick trust left/right and up/down? Just see me as the child, like in th movies, who looks in the sky and dream about to become like the Knight. :-)

A Knight is firstly all about mentality and dedication to the mission...Skills,ships etc come second so you may already be one😀 Am in normal controller,i roll with left stick,my yaw/pitch up/down etc is right stick and i have put my laterals in L2/R2 triggers. This has cost me manual throttle,so i only throttle with 2 button bindings 25/50/75/100 in FaOFF and On.

Greetings,for me personally most of the time not worth it.Specially in a medium ship...Havent used them for years now so i dont now if anything changed.Malfunctions are random so if you are lucky and get a good module error they can cripple the opponent for a while. Best thing you can do is test it yourself and check them in some fights.I don't use lasers in general and Scramble so my opinion may be somewhat irrelevant 😁O> Cmdr

@@Star_In_VegA Yes but a lawful mamba. I am struggling to find a build more sustainable in the hardpoints than just using frags. The mamba is misunderstood by the community in my opinion.

Lawful is the way to go Cmdr,good choice💪It is a good ship,but i think its more for wing fights .Well,the Mamba can't handle fix weapons good because of the hardpoints placement... I tried one but i mostly play plasma so it was a no go for me. I never use frags,but against a good set up medium and a good pilot i don't think that can be so efficient too as people think.Maybe try a huge plasma and some multicannons?

Good Cmdr,give it time and do your test fights...You ll have to adjust your flying too compared to full gimballed build💯.Hope it works for you,O>
