I will never forget an old acquaintance, that I went to grade school with, describe an incident during his service in the US Army Reserves. Checking here on Veterans Day. :) I wonder, if Earth did truly unite, in a way where we keep our sovereignty, but still join together when there is a threat, such as an alien or extradimensional threat, how powerful could we truly be? Well in my opinion, I'd say the reason is because of aging People generally want to live out their lives peacefully without having to fight for anything and they'll do anything to fight for that inner peace What i'm saying is, The reason Humanity is splintered is because nothing threatens our existence As someone once said "Peace is just a period before War" If say a middle-aged man has it all like wife, kids, big mansion, a butler and stuff like that.
