@Ahmed Alyafi Surtain didn’t even get cooked. He literally did his job. First catch on his was 1 on 1 matchup at 0:03. You can’t defend a perfect pass and that was perfect placement. Adams got the lead with 1 reception on Surtain to start the game. First touchdown of adams, 0:43 Surtain was trail technique (playing anything underneath for anything short of adams while expecting safety help overtop by kareem). Kareem failed to get into position and coverage, touchdown adams. Second touchdown (last one 2:12 ) denver was in zone cover 4, Surtain has deep but mainly left of the hash deep thirds and simmons was suppose to be in his deep left center thirds to just outside left hash literally on adams and failed to do so. Surtain took over his zone responsibility and got beat to his outside where “surtains zone” and Surtain is suppose to be at. Smart IQ between adams and carr Overall, bad communication from Denver’s secondary but hardly any 1-on-1’s with adams and surtain 😂😂

Watching great receivers like this helps to understand the greatness of Randy Moss. Guys like Adams and AJ Brown are good with late hands which indicated tight coverage. Randy was throwing his hands up for the ball when the defender was 3-5 yards in front of him.

If you're a Raider or Packer fan, you've seen it consistently how amazing of a receiver he is. All things considered, hes definitely top 5 WR all time as far as peak skill goes. 2020 he only played 14 games and still scored 18 TDs. Had a real shot at the single season TD record had he played 16.
