I do not like the pink stove at all!!! I love pink, but not for kitchen appliances. That's a very expensive item to replace if you get tired of the color. But, the homeowner loves it, so that's what matters. I love everything else about the home - the exterior color, the shmear, the landscaping, the back deck/stairs, the bar... EVERYTHING!! It just looks so fresh, bright, airy, sophisticated, and inviting. 10/10. Her reaction was great. She's going to love living there!

My first thought about the stove was, "If she ever has to sell her house that pink stove is very buyer specific and it might make the house stay on the market for a long time." It's wonderful to decorate to one's own taste but a person always has to think of resale value because a "forever home" very often won't be so forever after all (as my own personal experience has shown). That stove probably cost a minimum of $5000 and most people wouldn't want to have to spend money on a new one. That said, if the perfect buyer comes along who'd love a Pepto Bismol pink oven it will make the house much more attractive to him or her.

I also thought that if they were going to splurge on something custom, it might have been better to put in something a little more practical, like an outdoor movie screen, a pool slide, or even a motorized TV that is hidden away when not in use. There are so many options that they all would have enjoyed.

I found the pink stove to be a really strange choice. It's something you could easily get sick of. LOVE the open stairs in the back, too!! It totally changed the look of that whole area.

This house is amazing. But I have noticed in your renovations that your draperies always look sloppy. They puddle on the floors and are not crisp looking. Maybe it's because I prefer a more tailored appearance.
