Nicely done. My mother ( a white Boston lady) for a time taught Afro/Cuban dance. (go figure) so the sounds of Ray Barretto, Willie Bobo, Cal Tjader, Chico Hamilton and others filled my house as a youth. I listened to this piece 3 times before this comment. First, on the face of it, the 2nd time imagining congas and Timbales and the 3rd time just to listen at face value again. I enjoyed the piece and I was happy to hear that all 3 musicians filled in the gaps brilliantly.
