I loved the guy since wrestling. Back when he was tag team champions along with Rey Mysterio, till the day he left the WWE franchise. He was my favorite wrestler, and I stood by him with his decision to move to acting, and even his brief little stint in MMA. I know what it means to be shy and awkward and it can get lonely. I go out occasionally with a friend to try and be social and connect to others but more often than not I go home feeling even more lonely than I did at the start. I don't think I'll ever be able to change it. Good to know that even famous entertainers like him can suffer with it but he seems to have really embraced it.

Introverts tend to get labelled 'shy' or 'awkward' but that's just because we don't really want to talk to you! Small talk tends to be a chore for an introvert and weusually prefer the quiet solace of our own home as opposed to being social and being around others. 'Boring' is a term we're also often stuck with because we don't particularly find the same thrill in socializing/nightlife as extroverts do and therefore tend turn down invites to parties and functions. You'll often find though that introverts are the more creative and constructive ones since they're happy to immerse themselves in projects and hobbies while at home instead of being at a bar every weekend.

Each introvert is different. I know introverts that are shy and have low confidence, others are confident and assertive. Some introverts love talking to people, it's just that they love being alone more, because that's what gives them energy unlike the social interaction that drains it. Btw if you don't like small talk, don't do it. Just change the topic to something you're interested in. Just "Hey, what do you think about relationships?" or "What's your passion?" or "Tell me one of your bigger life goals." Boom. Suddenly, big talk.

I think for the most part why introverted folks aren't actually shy per-say, its more of how much energy it takes to be really social and it can be exhausting from what i can tell from people i know with the same kind of personality traits and what I've been told. It definitely makes sense. I would say to anyone feeling like their not social or they are too social, find balance. Balance is key in life, and its a good thing to do your own things and then do things with other people. Don't be so hard on yourselves if any of y'all are feeling that way.
