The crackhead situation Dave describes is pretty much spot on. I worked in SF for ten years and had my car broken into twice till I finally started using SF Muni. Once they broke into my 1993 Buick Skylark, ripped my dashboard apart to take an AM/FM cassette player. The other time they broke in, they stole my clip on sunglasses.....nothing else. And do not doubt the homeless pleasing themselves on public transportation, it happens. I had a homeless guy drop his drawers and dump a load on the Metro Gold line as we came into Santa Monica. Fun times

Lol😅 I never experienced that and I live in NYC not much better than Cali lmao but I did go into a bathroom once in the subway just to pee years ago and there was this old guy in one of the toilets getting off dude was like 'ahhhh yeahhh ahhhh F yeah Ahhh!!" I was an older teen at the time and ran out of there Lmao 😅

Funny thing is, I read about this happening to Dave Chappelle in the news paper before I ever saw the stand up. When I watched his stand up and he started telling the story, I told everyone that I read this happening in real life.

I used to tell these entire bits to my classmates in middle school going into Highschool. Watching Dave, Tosh, Katt, Ron White, and so many others was how I learned to be funny consistently. I remember I had this bit memorized so well I could picture Dave’s exact mannerisms and facial expressions with every line. So much fun.

Comedy is like art, and shouldn't be approached from a sense of realism. There may be bits of realism in there, but the entire point is the laugh. This bit is kind of like a Salvador Dali painting. Its absurdism at its finest. No political or social message, just an over the top funny story. 🙂

Dave is my favorite comedian of all times. Along with Seinfeld. I like Seinfeld because he's funny without ever cursing, or goint into controversies or sexual content, he's brilliant and elegant.
