Circa ‘91-‘92 I was obsessed with supercross. I was 10-11 years old. Dave made it fun and his voice and observational wit are among the greats in all sports commentary.

Dave Despain's voice was tattooed in my brain in my youth when it comes to motorsports, I will never forget those years.

@@maximusaugustus6823 it was surreal sitting across from the guy. Then I got to ride with him! Sometimes I watch this video to see if it really happened. Thanks for watching!

Sunday evening used to be permanently blocked off in my calendar to watch Dave. What an AWESOME episode. Great work, great interview, great man. Thanks for bringing this interview to the rest of us. A man after my own heart there - ride anything with wheels, and ride it as hard and as often as you can. Just super. Cheers - Jim

Nice Jeff! Put some soup on and ponder where you'd go if it was nice out and you didn't have to work today. Then let me know. I really want to start shooting some of these SECRET rides!

Nice Brad, did not subscribe but, you have shown a side of Dave that is very cool. Have followed his career in motor sports mainly because I enjoy most all motor sports, especially sprint and midget cars. Stay real Dave and I'm looking forward to hearing of you making 100,000 miles on your bike. Thanks Brad. And, Thank you Dave. Peace, Geo.P. Mann

Dave, Roebling Rd., alright! Yup, turn nine is a fast one 90-100 mph and on to the front straight. I topped out my '99 gixxer there, I was looking for another gear before the turn one braking marker, yee-haa! Also, I started racing at 43 and took home a first place trophy that year, yeah-baby.
