Didn’t Dave say no to motor spray? What seems to be the preferred method, dry or water??

Dave said he uses an eraser to get into the grooves of the commutator. His thoughts are, motor spray leaves a film, that the brushed pick up and will affect power to the comm. so, spraying a motor would mean another water break in for a few minutes. Make sure you are watching Monday night. Jim and Barry will be there and that is a perfect question to bring up. I’m working on trying to find a better method of video and audio for that show, since it will have a lot of technical details
