This remix almost saved soulsavers. Still, I totally miss Martin Gore touches. To me it sounds like a fair DM variant. My idea of a modern as you said, in my opinion is Jacques Lu Cont remix of 'A pain that im used to''. Try that one and feel that drive ....

I've never heard someone grasp the emancipatory aesthetic of Violator and Songs of Faith and Devotion like Eric Lymon. Depeche Mode lost Alan Wilder after SOFD but Lymon has brought his Weltgeist (world spirit) back into these creations. Absolutely, astoundingly brilliant.
