Nirvana played at the 1992 Mtv video music awards and at the end of the song Krist threw his bass in the air and didn't catch it when it came down and it hit him in the face. Fartman was there to present an award to Metallica and saw it all.

Novoselic once said to someone, "How many Nirvana concerts have you been to? Because I've been to all of them." It's true. He and Cobain were the only two humans to've been to every Nirvana concert. He was in possession of Cobain's fecal matter demo for about a year before he got around to listening to it, but when he did, he loved the song "Spank Thru" and decided he had to form a band with Cobain. When Nirvana decided to start letting themselves get wined and dined by major label representatives, Cobain did very little talking, leading most representatives to assume that Novoselic was the band leader. Of course, he's the only one in the band who couldn't sing.

It was great being a teenager in the 90’s! I saw Nirvana at Reading in ‘92 when I was only 15, I had a friend who was older who was a punk, she went to Reading every year, she would hassle me to go to gigs with her but my dad would never let me until Reading ‘92. I also saw L7 in my local city in ‘92. Safe to say that was a good year!

I feel like Krist has really struggled with Kurts passing and still is, I really feel for him and Dave, knowing that he isn't here and the way he passed as well won't help as they most likely feel a bit of guilt for thinking they might have not been there enough, I hope they don't feel that way, RIP Kurt

I've really come to think a lot of Krist. He is really thoughtful and cool and contributed mightily to Nirvana's sound. You start looking at the band's parts and you start to see it was a grouping of individual genius much like the Beatles and Zep.

Dave describes him and krist as just two really weird friends or something. Dave definitely had an ambition to be big and he was going to do anything to get it. Including just deciding one day to be in nirvana. They were definitely more colleagues. No doubt krist and Dave will always have a bond but it seems more circumstantial. You said it better. But yeah

I felt the exact same way about Jim Morrison when I was your age. He died 2 years before I was born. Having been around a while, I definitely see that Kurt's status in society today is like Morrison's 20-25 years ago.
