Watch his band. I am married to a man who was a rock and roll stage performer for 24 years. Dave disappears and the band keeps playing, unconcerned, but when his guitar is lifted up, over the lip of the stage, to a tech, they all come forward to peer over the edge to see if he is dead. Crew jumps down, Jordyn (his wife) appears and things start to happen. I have seen guitarists flat on their backs after a fall, blood pooling around their head, pull that guitar up closer and never miss a note, even as someone lifts them back to the stage. When that guitar appeared without him, the band knew it was serious!
