My favorite thing about Dave Grohl is his respect and reverence for his rock and roll heroes… whether it’s bringing Jimmy Page and JPJ on stage at Wembley stadium, or this great tribute to Malcom Young and AC/DC, Prince, Paul McCartney… I really respect that a lot 🫡for those about to rock, we salute you Dave.

Ladies and gentlemen, THIS is how you honor an icon.! Thank you Foo Fighters. Malcolm Young is the best rhythm guitar player that ever walked this earth. I live not far away from his brother Angus’s mansion here in the Netherlands. And I I’ve seen them live with my brother when I was about nine or 10 years old when they came to the Netherlands. During the black ice world tour. Unfortunately I don’t have the videos anymore I wish I did.And then again when they came to the Netherlands in 2015. When I was able to drive myself.

@@goodkarma9043 wow cool! Angus drinks beer? I live not far from them either. But I never see his wife out. I would love to meet her and maybe talk with her once not as a fan but as a fellow Dutch girl to Dutch woman. My mum works a lot so I’m not really allowed to leave the house. I’d love to meet Angus ! And obviously get an autograph.
@YourFellowRNRSisterFan982 жыл бұрын
@@Ellenyoung1955 girl that would be awesome. To meet even his wife . She sent me a letter a while ago. She was really cool in it, I still have the letter I have it framed. It was in a beautiful Dutch stationary, with the clogs? I bet she’s really sweet once you get to know her. And you’ve told me some stories so don’t lie to me Lisa cousin lol.
@Ellenyoung19552 жыл бұрын
@@YourFellowRNRSisterFan98 I have before. Just a few times but my mum told me to be respectful I seen her go to the ladies room in public once? And I know (this is weirdly coincidental) I had to go, I got my time of the month ? And I needed some help long story short? She helped me out and when I realized who she was (as I know she doesn’t have that issue no more not being disrespectful at all) I damn near fainted. She handed me a feminine product until I got home. And she said “you don’t live far from me do you?” I said “no ma’am I don’t” I was stuttering. I was almost afraid to speak but she seemed nice (like every Dutch woman until you piss her off) lol I have not done that and don’t intend too. But it’s just a small story. I know mostly an over share but it’s not like this is the most inappropriate thing on KZbin ever. And the other few times were also at the super market and one other place I forgot what it’s called right off.

@@jimcousins3091 she probably would know considering she lives near where he spends most of his time. Or at least his wife that I know of idk for sure and she’s my cousin on my moms side. Well nearly a month it’s been like 23 days apart but I remember hearing about it and he is probably a wreck but when I saw this tribute it literally brought tears to my eyes. Because Malcolm was one of the worlds best rhythm guitarist. And it is such a shame he is gone. If Angus is ever considered as the greatest guitarist of all time (or any position on any greatest guitarist list) - he (and we) always need to remember that Malc was the predecessor of even Lemmy - You want rock n roll! Forget their sound aside! Malc gave up lead guitar duties to focus on his alcoholism! So he could party more! But with the knowledge he was the original lead guitarist of AC/DC. Can you imagine a bloke who is so respected for his rhythm playing worldwide that he rips better than the guy on lead!?! And the lead guitarist is Angus Young!?! His brother!
