When I became born again I prayed not to be led astray by money preachers. As I walked through the Christian book store to buy my first KJV Bible, I came across Dave Hunt's In Defense of the Faith, and Occult Invasion. All I can say is. "... Blessed be the Lord God of my master Abraham, who hath not left destitute my master of his mercy and his truth: I being in the way, the Lord led me to the house of my master's brethren..." Amen. Dave Hunt got a promotion. There are many people that I want to meet when God calls us home. What is amazing is that many of these Bible teachers from that time are so accurate with what they teach and it is so much more relevant in 2023 than it was then. Maranatha.

Being here at the end of 2023, this is even more relevant today than it was when this message was recorded. Sadly, many believers have no understanding or discernment of the times we are currently living in. There is a convergence of so many things that are pointing to the soon departure of the saints of God. I am not saying that I know the time nor the hour but we are closer than we have ever been. Now more than ever, there are more and more scoffers of the rapture than ever before. The Bible tells us to understand the times and to look up for our redemption draws nigh. The world isn't falling apart. Things are falling into place. I am so rapture ready that I don't buy green bananas or eat Post Toasties. As David Jeremiah said, I'm not waiting for the undertaker, I am waiting for the upper taker.

I consider this ministry my salvation from the deceit in the church. I remember in the 80’s how Brother Hunt was treated with such disrespect but it never stopped him from preaching the truth. I loved him as my spiritual Father, a gift from the Lord. He made me see that we must count the cost when we follow Jesus. We are either all in, or we are out, no middle ground here. As a former Catholic, who was saved but stayed in the church for seven years until I got the power of the Holy Spirit to stand up to my family and leave. I have never looked back. I have been saved for 46 years now and thank Jesus for keeping me and growing me up in His Word. I’m so happy for Dave and Ruth because they are with our loving Savior and our loss is Heaven’s gain. I lost my husband of 50 years in October 2020. I was blest to have him and to see this Marine Veteran turn his life over to Jesus back in “81”. We attended an Ass of God church for Five years and saw the falling away of that denomination way back then. I pray that repentance will happen soon among fallen away Pastors and their congregations because they are in need of returning to the truth of the Word of God. Lord please raise up ministers of the Word in these last days and use those of us who are willing to answer your call to witness to others that Jesus is who he said He is , God come in the flesh to save each and every one of us that we might have eternal life. I cannot wait to go be with Jesus, and all my brothers and sisters in Christ, and Dave Hunt is top on my list after my husband.❤️🙏The Lord bless you all and bless this ministry as they continue the work of the Lord.

Had the Lord come for his saints when this address by Hunt was made, I would have been lost! Dave Hunt came into my "radar" only about 4 years ago. It brings tears to my eyes to think that the Lord tarried long enough to save a louse like me. Many mistakes in my search for the true gospel. Dave had the knowledge, the wisdom, the charisma and the sense of humor to get people in error, back on course and headed in the right direction! I cannot recall exactly whether I took Dave Hunt to the airport OR whether i ferried him to/from the church and my parents house - early 1990s timeframe. In either case, I do remember a Friday/Saturday conference where he spoke both days and it was amazing. Amazing. Twenty Years Later. Biblical History & Prophecy is as Truthful when it was first written as it is today. The Word of God is written upon the Hearts of the Believers. The first thing the Leaders of the Roman Church did was to disregard the Lunar Calendar of the Hebrew People. Then they downplayed the remembrance of the Passover. Thirdly, they changed the Day of Rest, the Sabbath - the Seventh Day - and changed the designated day of worship from God to Sunday; this caused an actual change to the Original Ten Commandments. God shows I'm his by answering my prayers by my faith when I ask. When reading the Bible as a new born again Christian, I read ask and it shall be given, if I don't ask amiss. Asking to be healed or praying for someone else to be healed and Jesus answers shows he is the way, the truth, and life. Life is more abundant by the Holy Spirit that dwells in me. I love this man. He never put any cut card on it. He just says it like it is. And the man knew what he was talking about. It is refreshing. Hope to see him someday, or time or season. However, it works. And that's why I hate it when people say the bible is Corrupted. Then how do you know any of it is true. You know it is true because of prophecy. You know it is true because it is coming to pass right in your face. And for sure in these times.

I saw a commercial the other day where someone was using a little stick with a button on it, and it was an instant translation device for language. Aside from that please pray that we all get out of evil and make it. Jesus brought me back to him in the last few months very swiftly. Regardless of what happens, I'm more aware of what is going on because of it. I forgot to live a spiritual life, so consumed with earning money, paying bills, and apathetically taking care of my miserable self.

First time listening to this gentleman. Noticed he passed over the second half of the verse 2Thess 2:3 then went back to it a little later. He said it can't mean the anti Christ must be revealed before the rapture because it doesn't fit his understanding that the rapture is imminent. But, you can't just say the Word doesn't mean what it says, it says the anti-Christ MUST BE REVEALED BEFORE THE RAPTURE, so that is the truth.

Agreed. This was one of the unfortunate errors that brother Hunt succumbed to. It’s a mark on his reputation, which is otherwise quite God-honoring as far as I can tell.

@@truthclips Later I realized the reason it seemed out of place for him is because ALL the other most used pre Trib verses are pulled way out of context. That the anti Christ must be revealed, is the only one that cannot be made to conform with the others, and it is always skipped over like it doesn't exist, until one sees they are all in harmony referring to the end of the world Resurrection/Rapture. I was pre-Trib for 40 years, and had a doosey of a time testing it against all of God's Word and not just what I had been taught. Agree, he appears to have been a very sound teacher.

Yes I love brother Dave Hunt and his teachings (thankfully for his partners and brothers and sisters at The Berean Call) is my source of spiritual food to this day. Regarding the rapture, what does the text stating that we shall meet the Lord in the air and how this day will come like a thief. The coming of Jesus Christ in the book of revelation is not Him coming as a thief. I am pre-trib, but I don't judge or look down on those who aren't. My main focus is to be a witness for Jesus Christ while I am still living. I know this and I am sure you do too that many of us will leave this earth by death before the rapture ever takes place. Whether I live or die, I want to stand and having done all to stand, to stand with the armour God describes in the book of Ephesians.
