It will be faster to crash down the initial house and rebuilding it as they want rather than repurposing everything at a massive cost

@annieterminetschuppon7232 I don't think so. This is a big house of 3,191 square feet. It looks like the front and centre of the home footprint stayed the same. It was the lake facing side where most of the new windows, reclaiming of sunroom and pushing out the second floor deck occurred. At 0:29 mins the house description says 4 bedroom, 3 bathroom. My guess is that 3 bedrooms and two bathrooms - intended for guests, family visitors and grandchildren - were left as is. Perhaps repainted, but left in the original 1996 style. It was their own Main Bedroom space, kitchen and living areas where they chose to spend their money.

@L.Spencer I think it's a common 'uniform' for men in America, especially the Midwest States. They call them 'caps' - as in baseball caps. Most men own lots of these. It's a sporty look for men who may not play sport anymore!

The usual good work by Dave and Jenny was absent on this project. The aunt said she liked color. Did she send word that she changed her mind? Right off the bat it was off-putting not to see the front yard properly cleaned up and landscaped. No curb appeal whatsoever. The porch didn't even contain colorful plants or flowers appropriate for a lake property. Way too much white everywhere inside. Then, the kitchen was way too much of the same blue color. It all ended with a totally drab and non-colorfully decorated deck. How disappointing!
