I saw him at a resort in Aptos, CA, great show, when it was over he was signing autographs, wethought line was too long, and we had dinner reservations at the resort. We watched through the window as he signed, when we were done, he was still there. So we went out and got in line, there were people telling him that it was time to go, he kept saying just a few more minutes. He stayed until everyone, including us, got to meet him. Not only a great musician but a great guy as well

well I like jazz specially if they use clarinet like Pete Fountain, Benko, Acker etc....it seems to be nothing compares but every time I see him (Dave) play his saxophones....well this one indeed someone you could compares with those senior artist, who has his own colour that's why I like Dave.I hope there would be a good clarinetist in these days...
they say a good guitarist must be able to play the same solo as the saxophone but with this guy you won't finische practicing soon
