Dave is super nice.. I met him at a gas station outside talladega in 96. I was a nascar super fan and knew every driver... So after the race at the gas station noone paid attention to the old guy wearing wingtips.... I got his autograph as he pumped gas... Never forget it.. We went to Daytonas,degas and bristols from 1993-1999 .... Great childhood memories.

Mr. Marcis is a national treasure and should be in the Hall of Fame. All we have these days are pasteurized short boys who come out of the same boring mold.

When it was introduced I know what I thought the Nascar Hall of Fame was supposed to be, and this man certainly belonged in it.
