Definitely my favorite band of all time. I've been a fan ever since I saw their video for what would you say when I was 12. I am 40 now. 🤘🤩👍 Wow time flies 😳

I’ll always remember my introduction to Dave because my Mom would play music while we all ate dinner and she had a mix she liked with a bunch of Jim Brickman and stuff like that, and the song “Where Are You Going” was one of the go to songs for her on that mix cd. I remember sort of sneaking around listening to it on headphones at first because I don’t think I wanted to admit I liked some of my moms music haha 😂 Who knows how old I was when I first heard DMB but I know that along with growing up in Denver and going to shows at Red Rocks it was a big part of what made me pursue music production and study audio engineering… These guys are always going to be a huge inspiration for me!

@@logicalconceptofficial 🤘😁👍 I live in Washington and seen them about 25 times there. Literally a spiritual experience everytime 🥰
@logicalconceptofficial2 жыл бұрын
@@larrygrant4999 music is a form of logic and logic is synonymous with God, so I’m not surprised that it was a “spiritual” aka conscious experience. If it’s good music it’ll do that to you, and DMB is not just good music but GREAT music. It is like “lying in the hands of god”.
@logicalconceptofficial2 жыл бұрын
@@larrygrant4999 I’ve only seen them live “once” (for 3 days in a row at DMB caravan festival) so I’m a bit jealous of the 25 times! I’m more of a studio rat than a concert goer but I’ll have to make it out to see them again!

@@logicalconceptofficial The Gorge Amphitheater, also called "Heaven's Amphitheater in Washington, is one of their favorite places to play. They play Friday, Saturday, and Sunday night every Labor day weekend. Labor "Dave" weekend is always epic. I've seen them play lying in the hands of God there a couple of times. 😍 I highly recommend looking up some of their Gorge performances on KZbin. 😉

Phish is the best but Blossom is one of the best Venues as Dave said not in 18 but in 21 he mentions I love this WOOD lol and it makes for great acoustics so Dave i agree I love wood

@@justingroff3682 Having a hard time getting into Phish. I like Farmhouse, but that's about it. Any recommendations?
@justingroff3682 Жыл бұрын
@@njfabio1 I love farmhouse too great album to start because it is more pop than jazz like the rest of their stuff. My favorite song is the lizards but it is not on any album. The best album after farmhouse would be Billy Breathes but eventually you may like them all but I would start by hearing certain epic live versions of songs like Harry Hood Slave to the Traffic Light Back on the Train. Start with 2 28 2003 one of the best live shows ever Harry Hood hooked me on 2 21 2003 at Cedarville University I got introduced to Phish by a townie and then DMB and Ben Folds and Zepplin Dylan Counting Crows Pink Floyd 2Pac Marley Chuck Berry Hendrix the Beatles Fiona Apple etc were my favorites but Phish quickly became an obsession after hearing Harry Hood live so that was my worm bait initially. If you like Farmhouse I recommend checking out Mock Song from Magnaball 2015 Sing Monica and you never know and tide turns great pop songs Fans hate the album Big Boat but for starters it may work as a great slide to harder stuff to digest at first like Split Open and Melt and David Bowie a song not the artist although they did cover Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars on Halloween 2016 which was awesome. Bowie and SOAM are very dissonant on purpose and I hated both from 2003 to 2005 probably because they have to grow on you and ironically SOAM is a fan favorite not me but most fans

2018, the first year without Boyd. What an awkward year, so many questions and looking forward for Dave to address it, which he never really did in a great length.. But just like this song, they keep marching on, and marching on they did!
