Thank you for this. One of the best live recordings of all time. Everyone firing on all cylinders. LeRoi grinning while Jeff Coffin is creating sounds that are piercing the space time continuum, it's all just so good. Also audio quality, and your shots are great, really enjoyed this.

You'll see him again when your time of transition from this particular realm comes. All in it's right time. Learn about Near Death Experiences, especially the veridical cases, then you'll understand that what we think of as 'death' is simply a shift of one's eternal Consciousness.

This cut of #41 opened my eyes up to the world of jam bands. Ive met so many good people across Phish, Dead, WSP, Dave shows because of this 32 min version of 41. I owe a lot to this. Thanks Dave, Carter, Bela Fleck crew... and a big thanks to LeRoi. RIP and thanks for the tunes.

@@Sugarsail1 obviously they are all unique. But if you asked any of those band members, I'd bet they would have no issue being lumped in as "jam bands". It isn't a pejorative. They are bands that literally jam out songs for 10, 20, 30 minutes.

My favorite part of this is so damn subtle. At 5:10 or so Vic starts playing this sly little riff under the music and at 5:25 Butch picks up on it and echos it. Vic's smile when he hears Butch nab that line is to me what this music thing is all about. Just the little conversations that happen throughout.

Many years ago, through a friend, I ended up at a Thanksgiving dinner hosted by a lady who owned a horse farm in Charlottesville. I was kind of just along for the ride. There were many tables all over the house and I got separated from the folks I came with. But I ended up at a table with Dave Matthews with maybe a dozen other people. I later learned the lady who owned the farm was his aunt! Talk about an engaging guy! He pretty much dominated conversation, which was just fine with us. But I realized then just how special you have to be to make it big. He’s a really, really nice guy and very easy to be around. No airs at all.

The amount of talent on that stage! I got the tingles all over my body. Then when Jeff started his solo at about 12:09 .... and Carter was holding it down ... and Leroi was watching with admiration. Man that got deep in my soul, in my bones ... and it just built to a crescendo. My eyes welled up with tears accompanied by a joyous laugh. Gotttt Dayyyummm Son!!! Sometimes music moves me to tears of joy at its beauty. Is that weird? Does anybody else feel it like that? ...and there I found the greatest band in the universe!

I was in the 8th row for this show (Ottawa Warehouse represent). After hearing DMB jam on #41 with Bela on one of the warehouse cd's I figured it was worth a shot ... so I kept yelling "Play 41 with Bela!!!" towards the end of the show. When they did, I think I shit my face. This was one of the most memorable experiences in my life. No matter what music I might find myself into at the moment I can always come back to DMB and enjoy it as though it was brand new. Much love.

Having a crap life overall like many but the Great Algorithm led me here, and for just a small time, I feel fine, fine, fine, and I'm going to a show for the first time since 2012 this year. Maybe even two or three. I don't know. I don't know if there'll be enough time

I've listened to this rendition of the song at least a thousand times. It gets better every time. Pure, unadulterated talent from the bones of each musician upon that stage.

Wow. I don't even know what to say. As a lover of all music, but largely a Deadhead, I have to say this is one of the most inspiring jams I've ever heard. Can't imagine the energy in that place. I do remember from experience that DMb crowds were pretty lame though.

Been wanting this night and so many others to be on a live trax for years now.. A shame so few get released.. All shows from this time period were truely top notch and deserving of a live trax, but man o man how I've wanted this show for a long time now.
