The third of 3 songs in a row that Warren Haynes sat in on at Jones Beach Theater Wantagh, NY on 7-19-23. It was truly amazing!! Did my best videoing all three in a very crowded pit!

Ok I've seen Warren Hayes live many times, in many guest appearances' including w/ DMB but the first few minutes of this he really looks dumbfounded and playing catch up (if he is playing at all). The whole band led him into the truly epic thing that developed. Never seen Warren not knowing where he fit in but this why I love this music, progression, evolution how ever categorized it's plain and simple just fucking good.

When he finally caught up to the song, he was killing it. But it only lasted for like 2 mins at most. The same thing happened when he came out for tripping billies at the garden. Felt like he had no idea where in the song he was supposed to be.

That was one quick and smooth guitar change

Nice work son. We old folk appreciate what you do. We used to do it. Torch passed.

Ever since Dave came back from playing with D&C, DMB shows have gotten markedly better

Nice job Jack…I sat way up in the last row, and the sound was terrible…nice to go back and watch and actually hear quality sound.

That definitely was pretty epic and some very tasty soloing by Mr. Haynes (someone who’s work I’m not exceedingly familiar with).

Do yourself a favor and treat yourself to watching Warren play with DMB at Central Park. Some of the best live performances I've ever seen. Cortez the Killer might be the best version ever

Love Warren and Dave and Carter but this is Stefan’s show kids.

Poor Warren is totally lost on the song for the first 7 minutes - just keeps smiling with that bewildered smile- I've never seen that before. Ha it shows even amazing guitarists have limits like everyone else. Dave must have seen that because they transition to include him in the last 10 minutes.

That's one way to look at it 🙂 How about DMB transfixed while led by Warren for an amazing 10 min? Great video!
