I feel a big part of why the British wrestling sites are spiralling is because they are run by hardcore fans. the best one on wrestle talk is a more casual wrestling fan (Dan). Also Adam B, was what blew up the wrestling youtuber screen in the UK, he has a personality and looks that worked for youtube, but he was a s*x pest and it always annoyed me how wrestle talk would judge others for rumours of that whilst employing one, it's just hypocritical. I also think it's because they stuck with wwe during the times it was bad, so they are blowing smoke up AEWs behind to have any form of competition for WWE, not realising that whilst WWE does need competition that doesn't have to be AEW. Plus the british tend to hold a grudge which comes across in passive aggressive sentiment, which comes out in their hatred of the miz and certain WWE angles.

I think miz is great...the man knows how to work...miz, and randy have been around along time now..they know what their doing. Most ppl i know in the uk think miz is great too. Too many nerds representing the uk wrestling fans on social media giving a bad impresion of uk fans..but were all not weirdos like most of those guys.

Not surprised they love meltzer since he's the only one supplying these wrestling channels with infos. Without him they basically have no work and need to rely on their own sources if they have any.

wembley is the former home of TNA back in 2010's hogan and bischoff era. i remember TNA even host british boot camp reality show back in the day they used to be always over there. crazy, dixie's inexperience and bad decisions caused damage a company long term. this is exactly what tk is dealing with currently bcuz he didn't learn from anybody's mistakes he's only just repeated them. history always seem to repeated itself. it's always TK's ego and arrogance that also playing a part of the company's downfall and they earned that downfall in every way bcuz of how they deal with situations unprofessionally.

Thats the thing that gets me with the AEW freakazoids, "AEW is so hot in the UK" its like so was TNA is due to the time and channel the shows are on. From memory TNA was doing way bigger attendances in the UK with Hogan and Eric everytime they went over to the UK was like 10k house shows or something

The tipping pint for me with cultaholic was when they were talking about the then upcoming aew. You could see their brains trying to figure out how, in a business where no one is paid equally, tony could pay men and women the same. I respect what they've built, but boy do I miss the old pre-wcpw days of whatculture.

First warning for me was when, after a TLC match where Kari Sane was injured and everyone else just kept going, one of the guys had to preface his commentary with "I don't want to criticize women's wrestling". It was all downhill after that.

I can tell you now both cultaholic and wrestletalk won't like this thumbnail because of Adam being in it. Huge reason Whatculture blew up then when they left to start Cultaholic Adam was gone immediately due to various allegations. Eventually Wrestletalk employed him but again after a few years a similar allegation happened and im pretty sure he's never coming back to KZbin. But yeah all 3 of those channels suck and are very pro AEW simply because they get more appreciation from Tony. WWE wouldn't touch them with a bargepole. None of them are journalists really. None of them have sources they just report what Dave or Pwinsider or PWTorch etc reports. They are quite unnecessary in that sense. By all means do a podcast or a review show but don't do news bulletins.

Cultaholic is not as bad as WrestleTalk. Their bias of AEW just oozes out of them. I used to look the other way but when they never mentioned the disastrously low 500k viewership of Dynamite, that’s when it was the last straw.

I stopped watching even Simon Miller when in a somewhat recent video he said that AEW's criticism for lack of stories is not real, because "Danielson and Ospreay feuding over both thinking they're the best wrestler is a story", he said we may not like that story, but that it is still a story, he lost me there.

I agree with most of the video but the "Low tivket sale" felt very clickbaity, 40k is a huge number for an AEW PPV their biggest one after wembley had 20k people, they are almost selling out the arena 40 something out of 51, why? I dont know
