If you have over 500 oz of silver, you're over invested. For the little guys, the main sales channel we have are the coin shops. Now, imagine the line forming outside a coin shop when silver goes over $100, $200, $300.... What are the chances the coin shop can shell out $10k to $30k for each 100oz bar? They will ABSOLUTELY STOP BUYING after the first 10 bars. There's just not enough cash! It doesn't matter how good the fundamentals for silver are, if small investors do not have the confidence in monetizing their silver investment, they will not buy regardless the price action on the metal.

Puplava is an intelligent guy but he’s becoming more conspiratorial (going off on tangents about supposedly fake CPI reports, for example). (Seems to be a trend amongst those of his age cohort, who have a penchant for voting for problematic politicians.) He hosts and gives prominence to kooks and cranks like Morgan. I like many of his guests (Doomberg, for example), but I could do without the nuts and the tiresome political opining and the conspiracy theories. Nevertheless, it’s a good podcast - Chris Puplava is superb - and I appreciate the effort that goes into making it.
