Marvin Bravo What I mean is that I believe it's not necessary for one to have tattoos to be in a Heavy Metal band. It's often a misconception for musicians to have permanent inks etched to their skin to be in a band like Megadeth but in Dave Mustaine's case, it's not, and I think he sets a good example for that. Don't get me wrong, I'm not condoning tattoos or anything like that. This is just my own personal observation for someone who is a fan of Metal music.

Hmm, strange at the end he didnt really explain where he got the idea for vic rattlehead.. He just sort of came up with it? Well another strange thing is that Dave openly said that he was really into the satanic bible and black magic when he was younger, maybe thats where the idea for Vic came from? the song Skull beneath the skin sounds like some kind of evil fucked up torture from hell or something, most of the songs off KIMB, and PSBWB just seem like they have some kind of double meaning if you really listen to it.. Dave actually recently said that he won't play The Conjuring live anymore because apparently the lyrics have instructions for black magic, if you read the lyrics it sounds like its describing a deal with the devil "I am the devils advocate, a salesman if you will, you know my name, you know my name" and "Come join me in my infernal depths, mephisto's hall of fame, I've got your soul, I've got your soul" weird, "Mephisto" is actually the name for the devil in the play faust, and "Hall of Fame"? maybe meaning the rock hall of fame? People who sold their souls? "I am the devils advocate, a salesman if you will"? maybe meaning he works for the devil by selling megadeths music.. maybe Dave Mustaine made a deal with the devil, so he could be famous? look this stuff up, its pretty weird.

@explosivoification Maiden , Slayer , Anthrax and Megadeth were my 1st introduction too metal. I'd heard of Metallica around the same time but only got into them when Master Of Puppets was released. Sepultura was another great band. Never cared for anything after Choas A.D. though. Especially when Max left to do soulfly.

yes he co-wrote half of the songs on Kill em all and pretty much wrote all of the four horsemen(all metallica really did was change the lyrics) but a couple of the songs on that album were written before Dave even joined. Megadeth are an amazing band but I don't see why megadeth fans in order to justify Dave being great say that Dave wrote all of Metallicas earlier material.
