Thanks for this - brings back memories, though not necessarily good ones - school swimming lessons on Monday mornings were never the greatest things - pool freezing cold and stinking of chlorine lol.

My cousin was a lifeguard there. I remember when the baths had real baths, not just a swimming pool. Families living in homes without baths could go there and bathe. Big, bathtubs and lots of hot water. Bliss!
