Incredible breakdown. In terms of setting an atmosphere and tone of a track, with clever production and masterful songwriting, this has to be one of the best out there, leading in to a seminal album that lives up to this standard and provides more than just music. Couldn’t agree more as an album of... a piece of art that should and I believe will live on forever. Dave has broken down important barriers regarding mental health but particularly in the black community and particularly in the rap scene where appearance is everything. To show that vulnerability from a man of his age further demonstrates he is a true great. I think of the musicians who’s music I still listen to and is as fresh as ever and they started young - Dave ✅ they play their own instruments - Dave ✅ they write unbelievable lyrics - Dave ✅ the subject material is dense - Dave ✅ Great series to be going through, great breakdown and thoroughly enjoyable!
