Background info: Chris is on a singer/songwriter cruise. These are music industry peers that he made absolutely speechless. Once he starts singing, all talking, carrying on comes to an abrupt halt.

If you look they're a lot of hidden gems like this scattered around from Chris's younger days. I will suggest Chris Stapleton "Fool Me Again" which is from a Song Writer's Conference on a Cruise Ship I believe. Heads up, it's definitely country.

Sandy Beaches Cruise 12. "Ain't No Way This Love Is Wrong" from that same cruise is hot.

You give a gentle reaction and then you go rogue with your "bug off" ... "and this is just him on the guitar". Chris sustaining those trills/runs is to rip our hearts out. "Holy Heck" is right on...

🎸💯 I've got the only album by the Jompson Brothers when Chris was their front man. "Barely Alive" is one of the cuts; but, I REALLY love this live performance‼🤯🔥

Early recordings of Chris sometimes were not technically great but the power comes through, even on a cell phone recording. Chris on stage by himself with only his old beatup guitar really show his power and presence as a performer.
