Rock n Roll is like a sports car that rots in the garage and every now and then there is a band that polishes up the old car and brings it back on the road, which is exactly what oasis did in the 90s

Man, you just keep throwing the memories at us, guys! I was 16 when I first got into Oasis (1996) and it was 2 years after their first album Definitely Maybe. I bought all their massive concerts on video and would watch them over and over. It inspired me to get into guitar playing, and I learned to play a load of their tracks. Ah yes, the good old days. 😎

Another great song , Dave is spot on with Noel playing guitar . I think maybe he gets Intimidated by some of these other trained guitarist and lets them take the lead but his ears is all he needs . He beats the hell out of his hooks in his songs and that is the secret sauce to their success . Dave was great as always on his reaction . Cant get enough of Oasis . How this band did not knock everybody out of the US Charts back in the day is baffling to me . As Dave would say ( The UK know good music and we don't know what we are doing when it comes to charts .) Not saying all our artist but some should not be in the Top 10

It reminds me of Beach Boys or something like that too and just as Dave said that I thought that that initial verse melody sounds like it’s stolen, but it’s just classic and genius. It’s my favourite part of the song, it is a timeless masterclass melody, trapped in the context of a band too little appreciated due to not sounding new at any point and because of all the antics. How good are the notes in the first line, it’s really moving and good. Incredibly memorable and catchy and the rest is a great soundtrack for me, 16 years old and bored on a sunny day ❤

The best part of this song was Liams determination to find something to get violent with and instead of the mic or throwing his tambourine or maracus this time the best he could do was kick a towel on the floor. Not the same impact as usual but definitely funnier.
