Hey Dave and Mrs Dave, That’s Entertainment is a classic song by The Jam, Weller’s first band. This is from Weller’s acoustic tour from around 2002. Noel and Weller have collaborated many times and always pop up on each other’s records dating back to Weller playing the solo on the album version of Champagne Supernova. Please check out more Weller, either from the 1996 Jools Holland special or 1997 live at The South Bank. Songs like Sunflower, Wild Wood, Changing Man, Heavy Soul or Peacock Suit. Also Weller did a cover of The Beatles Come Together with none other than Paul McCartney and Noel Gallagher for a charity record under the name The Smokin’ Mojo Filters which is also worth checking out. Paul Weller through all his bands and styles, moving on when he thought things were comfortable, and produced what I suppose are more relevant here in the UK. Some of his solo songs are worth a listen as well. ' |You do something too me' amongst others
