Schultz against Varaev of the Soviet Union for the individual gold medal at the 1986 Goodwill Games.
Varaev defeated Schultz in the finals of the 1987 World Championships and lost to Kenny Monday in the 1988 Olympic final.

Really beautiful wrestling singlets. They look great, MUCH better than the ones nowadays ... they are much more functional, look extremely sexy, show the muscular bodies and are super comfortable to wear. I wish this style would come back for wrestling.

I always say that Dave was and is the most technically talented wrestler in USA history. Anyone wrestled him and anyone who ever trained with or under him always raves about how smart Dave was on the mat

В 88г Шульц на Олимпиаде не боролся, тогда у них боролся Мондей которому Вараев проиграл в финале. Вараев победил Щульца на Чемпионате Мира 87г.
