Love having these stream VODs on in the background of my general life!! My ADHD makes it seem like I've got like four different TV channels of Loud Silly Nonsense going on in my brain at the same time, and AA's videos being on and taking up space in my brain is like turning off one of the nonsense channels. I don't know if that makes any sense at all lmao but it's really helpful with quieting down a loud mind 😅

Yeah this game rocks. I put maybe 14 hours in several months ago, consuming all available content up to that point and I enjoyed every moment of it. For the restaurant part, Dave doesn't get better but there is a whole staff management aspect that opens up later where you have more servers and cooks. They have perks, etc. The game builds on everything over time. The day night cycle and calendar date even eventually matters. Hell you even eventually open up a fish farm and farm plots to augment your catches.

This game is fantastic. At its core, it suffers from the Jack of all trades master of none problem. It markets itself as a rogue like fishing game + restaurant sim. But because it’s a half and half, the mechanics surrounding both elements are extremely simple. with how similar the maps are, it can’t really be called a rogue like, and the fishing is satisfying but clunky. Along with this the restaurant part of the game is satisfying, but extremely simplistic when compared to other games in the genre. But everything surrounding it is so polished and so well executed that you don’t really mind all that much. In fact, at times the simplicity helps it. Every nook and cranny of this game is filled with character and developer passion, and it really gives it its own identity rather than the “shallow mixture of two genres” that so many games end up suffering from.

They don't pump weird shit in the fish... unless you live in china, i mean. Also people forget that sashimi wasn't always this "high class" thing people make it out to be. It used to be that fisherman would slice the fish they cought very thin and eat it raw with some simple namasu or ginger/wasabi vineger because no fire allowed on the relatively shitty wooden boats and soysauce wasn't a thing yet. And back then they basically have all their catch confiscated by the village elder or land lord the moment their shitty wooden boat touches shore, so they just wanted something to eat, Even if it's raw. So in a way, you're having an almost-authentic-in-spirit dirtface peasent fisherman sushi eating experience from supermarket sushi/sashimi. Very traditional. Very delicious just the same.

If you're just checking this out now, I'd personally stake the claim this is a hidden gem. I found it only because of the sale, but I'm STUCK I love the beach theme and ocean vibes, I love the diverse aquatic life, even though I'm not a cooking mama fan, I like the sushi section, it makes me feel accomplished for all that fishing Again, on sale, and launching first half of 2023 which would be right now, so grab it while it's cheap

ABOUT DOLPHINS: they scary AF and will ram your ribs broken if you dare piss a wild one off. they are also smart and vindictive so the dolphin you pissed off will remember you and attack on sight. they also get high on puffer fish and pass them around in a circle. NO JOKE LOOK IT UP
