maaaannn I’m so mad right now, what you’ve said here is exactly what I’ve been trying to put together for years. My friends and I always just end up laughing, because it just seems so unbelievable, there’s nothing else to do but laugh. It reminds me of when I got really into astrophysics in college, not having taken a general physics class, nor calculus, but picking up these books filled with concepts completely out of my realm of cognition. There were these artful collections of paragraphs which I could understand just enough of to know what was being communicated, but that what was being communicated was completely shattering my understanding of the world around me. Dave seems to have an unquestionable understanding of something very substantial, but I don’t know exactly what it is that he knows, and there’s not another human being that does either. In that way, there are parallels to ancient written languages that have been lost with time. How else would you try to communicate what an 80mg deemsters session is like when The Re-up explains it so concisely.

Tipper has been very well known since like the 90s or early 2000s. He has only recently started playing these mainstream festivals, starting in like 2017 as far as I know

He didn't sell out in the traditional sense. The music stayed the same. The audience (both in kind and degree) is the only thing that really changed.
