This is awesome. Straight to the point, easy to understand, clear. Love it!

this might be the best video i've ever seen. listen i've been watching youtube since it first came out, and youtube used to keep track of how many videos you watched back in the day. when they removed this feature i had watched around 40,000 youtube videos. since that time i have easily watched 100x this figure, so out of millions of youtube videos this one is unequivocally the greatest of all. thank you sir.

Im a bit late to the party, but I just wanna say, even though I've been doing calculations including ang. freq. my whole life (4th year eng student), no one has been able to explain angular frequency as clearly as you have.

Thanks for the presentation. Sir, I expect a better definition for angular frequency. A normal frequency is defined as the number of repetitions in a periodic signal per second. In this spirit, what is the definition of an angular frequency for a physical periodic signal such as sinusoidal voltage generated in a thermal power station.

1 f corresponds to 1 cycle = 1 circle = 2 pi rad ---> nf/f = w/2pi where n = # of cyles ---> n=( 0.2 pi rad/s )/2 pi = 0.1 cycle /s = 0.1 Hz

Hello, thank you for a wonderful video. I have a doubt. In the video at 6:16 mins you told, w = radians/cycle times cycles/second. If a cycle is of pi/9 radians (rather than 2 pi) than would it be correct to say w = pi/9 times frequency??

Such ambiguous explanations usually make such so simple concepts become unnecessarily complicated Here is an unambiguous way to explain the difference between frequency and angular frequency Frequency denoted as " f " expresses how often or how many times a completed motion or action is repeated, whereas an angular velocity says how fast a circular motion or an action expressed in a sinusoidal function takes place In a circular motion or a motion expressed in a sinusoidal function, a completed motion is defined as complete cycle, and represented as 1 full circle or 360 degrees or 2 pi radians Ex : the angular velocity is 24 pi rad per 2 minutes = 24pi rad/ 2×60s = 0.2 pi rad/s which is merely a displacement length measured in pi rad (S= angle*Radius), made by a motion after the period of time = 2 minutes = 120s The frequency of the motion is f/ 1 cycle = (w/2pi rad) = (0.2 pi rad/s ) / 2 pi rad f = (w/2pi rad/s) 1 cycle/ 2 pi rad = 0.1 cylce/ s which is the angular frequency of the motion So frequency is a scalar or quantity value used to express how often a completed motion is repeated , while angular frequency is a vector quantity which expresses how fast that motion takes place toward which direction, and how many times the completed motion has been repeated

I would have started with the explanation of Period, not Frequency. The transition to Angular Frequency is in my opinion more logical then.
