Hi from an Aussie fan. There are a few classic overtaking points at The Mountain. Skyline isn’t one of them, but follow closely and Forest Elbow is. Nice race Dave, hard in an 86. Even harder in your road car, remember most of the time this is a public road!

I have a love hate relationship with Bathurst. On one hand, the mountain is a thrill, up and down, so much banking, on the other, besides cup cars it feels like the kind of cars that are supposed to race there have become way to big to do so safely.

Its tough to be consistent for sure. But I love love racing on the limits. Ive found alot of racers that wtill dont understand what truely driving on the edge of grip means. Still going wide mot turning in enough or giving enough theottle to whrre you are just as the point of inducing understeer. Aka right on the edge of the point where the car doesnt want to turn in anymore pushing it very very hard. Love it! Like that old saying if your tires are singing they are happy 😉. Also the shortest line is fastest. All play a roll in driving on the edge.

Hey I was in this race and started p6. You can see me weaving behind you at 1:55. It was fun being in the same race with you even with such a low irating but it does make a difference since you were mega fast. Congrats on the podium finish and unlucky not to get the win. Also 19:19 thanks!
