I still cannot believe I decided to watch a GT4 Bathurst race to see how hard and how much carnage there would be. Was watching several drivers then spotted this McLaren that was having some fun with some M4’s, ended up sitting in that McLaren’s cockpit for the last 5 laps. When I heard the voice of the McLaren driver I was like hang on here is this… wait nooooo way! Mr Evan! 😅 PS: It was this exact race!

Well Dave that one had on Me on the edge of my seat. I didn't realize the gt4s were at Bathurst this week. I've been over at the gt3s at Hockenheim. I've always loved that track and have always been very good at it, but the Corvette is a bit of a Wrangler to deal with around there. But I'm Trucking on and seeing what I can do with it. I can't wait for the new McLaren next season. I've been saying for years that we need a new McLaren and we're finally getting one. They are some of my favorite cars in the world.

I have been doing this race a number of times this week. watching you I have picked up several things I'm doing wrong with gear selection on a couple of corners. Allways great to watch you race Dave. Love your work.

I am LOVING the GT4 fixed and multiclass versions this week at Bathurst! I am bottom split...or maybe 2nd from bottom split...always fun to see carnage still exists in a 3500 SOF race :)

Until iRacing implements some kind of system that punishes people risking under yellow, this kind of carnage will keep happening. Cause sometimes they get rewarded from taking these risks. 🤷‍♂️

Christian defended well. I think your best chance might have been an inside run at the last corner on the penultimate lap. Classic Bathurst move but not for the faint hearted! Loved your lines particularly down the mountain.

I'm kind of sad that the BMW M4 F82 will soon be gone. It looks so menacing and awesome. The G82 for GT4 has grown on me a lot more, but it's not nearly as cool looking as that sharp, aggressive look of the F82.

I did a Falken Tyre Sports Car Challenge the other day, man it was intense with the LMP3 jump scares but I eeked out P4 with 1 incident point. Super fun track.

GT4 BoP is usually really good tbh. But top split will always see people flock to the car(s) with the marginal advantage, even if it is marginal. Also the BMW may be more popular right now as you can buy it and get your credits back at the end of the season (but still use it in PCC). Wasn't many Mercs in this race either and that's normally super popular.
