Welcome to the strict limits in Raceroom, good to see you had a better race than some of your other races on Raceroom in the past. Raceroom ranked rookie can be carnage some times whilst the AM and PRO ones tend to have a more civilised set of racers.

Hey Dave, great to see you doing some race room. I've been playing it a lot recently, so much so I'm struggling to go back to iracing. Nicely done Dave. Good to see you back in RaceRoom again. The Devs are working hard on improving the game. The recent Gfx updates and dynamic track were just the start. DX12 upgrade is in the pipeline (as still a DX9 game), day/night cycles too. Also RaceRoom will be appearing on LFM in 2025. All good. Happy New Year to you bud, hope you hit the 100k subs soon.

It looked good but man they were pretty nazi about those track limits, that would really bust my balls. And I've never liked how this sim has like static generic dashboards, like it's 1993 or something

@@hansolo631 Old engine (dx9), but they working on a Dx12 version. Maybe after that they make the dashboards more alive. But for me, more important, that I feel, what the tires doing, so i just forget the graph. And does not bad in VR. Not as pretty as AMS2, but playable.

I have to admit this pack brought me even more joy than the 95 dtm one - but they're both brilliant, no doubt about that :) BTW those cars are something over 1000kg, the Audi being the heaviest, and slightly over 300 bhp - and IMO should use rolling start, as with standing one the front wheel driven ones don't have much chance😅 P. S. the Nordschleife 2x20 featured ranked race is even more fun 😂

I think that RR is less forgiving of mistakes of going off the track than IR (track limits). And .Good job and good race.and the penalties are good

The best thing about this is well it’s brilliant that toca is back but it’s the AI I’m amazed at how realistic and accurate it is??!! Because it drives just like the real toca series the cars slide off the track they really race with you and exactly how they did back then in real life and the way they overtake each other like bumper to bumper!!!…..bloody awesome I wish I had this game?? Where do you get it???👍

This simulator only improves with each update, one thing I noticed, how did you enable communication with the pit? receiving information about the race on the radio, I started at RR a few months ago and didn't find this option...

Would have almost ended up as an even stricter system. Thankfully the slow downs are easy to clear for the most part and you do get used to them, even though I hate them.

@@bluebell2334 it’s the off-track boundaries that irk me. The slow downs are fine. But for example at T1 here, even with the 2 right side wheels on the tarmac you still get an off-track. It’s not just this track, it’s all of them. Just seems far too excessive.

Sadly the answer is never, you’ll have to drive during peak Euro hours, which is when grids are very nicely filled, very often full.

You can get all cars and all tracks currently in game for 10.000vrp’s (vrp is raceroom in-game currency), and currently you can buy 10k vrp’s for 75€ in Raceroom store. Personally find it an amazing value.

I love Race Room, but it’s so freaking sensitive with track limits that it kinda kills it for me… When you’re running crewchief as well, the verbal abuse you’ll get for track limits is terrifying 😂

Wow, those track limits seem excessively strict, the slow down penalties are pretty meaningless as well, they arent long enough and give you a million years to get through it so it's not really a penalty then
