I don't think that I have ever seen the complete set run on a layout. Thanks for running it. A lot of research went into the production of this set with all the different toy images.

Wow! What an awesome train. I would be good to put it on its own siding, so you could pull it out and run it, but never touch it, except to dust it off. It is pretty impressive that it can pull that many cars. I have four Marx sets, plus an extra set of locomotives. My big, lithographed ersatz Santa Fe 'E' units, have a hard time pulling the set of the small, plastic passenger cars, but smaller, plastic Santa Fe units have no problem. They look cool, though. I'm looking for the proper tender for my 999 engine. I'm using one from one of my lithographed engines, since I have a couple of extra tenders, that a vendor included in a set that I bought. Either way, that is one real nice set. An excellent video, as always.
