ACS Falcon I Dual Boiler espresso machine

At Host Milan 2023 a new machine from ACS, dual boilers (2.3 and 0.8l), actively heated pid controlled group rather than an imprecise thermosyphon. obstructed from stainless steel and using 2mm thick stainless steel for the frame. The rotary pump is powerful, super quiet and vibration free.. Different wood options are available.
ACS developed their own board for this machine. It uses soc technology, basically an entire computer on a single chip on the main board. This allows ACS to quickly design new functions and facilities and get that firmware out to users rapidly. They will use their mobile phones as a router (simply creating a hotspot) to have the machine download specific firmware numbers from the cloud.
The machine is factory configured to a specific countries power systems, and the customer can optionally reduce the power ceiling of the machine by 50%, to cater for any special situations.

Not yet, as they have not calculated the volume production build cost.

@@espressomatic Under $2000 doesn't make sense. They just updated the Minima so that indicates that they plan on continuing to sell it. And if that's the case, and if the Falcon was under $2000, it would take away most sales from the Minima. Additionally, $2000 would be considered way underpriced based on competition with the included features and specs.

@@RTR-96 I agree, but Lance was crystal clear. Maybe it's supposed to be "under $3000" which makes more sense. Either way, the price is mostly margin. Personally, I like the looks and the E61, but at the end of the day almost any machine can make the same cup of espresso - the single most important piece of equipment is always going to be the grinder.

Personally not a fan of using/needing hot water or steam, but why such in your face wands for those features? I get that they can be moved/swiveled out of the way, but some machine designs are just idiotic with that implementation...

You can ask for different wands, no problem and no extra cost.
