RM has discussed this several times live that in fact the members have SOMEWHAT of a choice on how they want to promote their album and for how long; RM stated that if you want a longer promotion schedule then you have to put YOUR OWN money into it, hence why NamJunnie always says that his MV's, cast, live performance and location were all OUT OF HIS OWN POCKET, not the company, so he can have his own creative freedom without being limited by HYBE. Other members have also regurgitated this same info. Most of NamJun's funding was from Bottega Veneta, which you can see he even makes it clear within the video, look at his INDIGO live performance, it was all funded by Bottega. He stated HYBE did not allow to him to do more than 2 MV's, so now he will go by his future albums differently; he knows to put his own money and people towards it, not rely on BIGHIT. RPWP was purely funded by NamJoon himself that's why you see none of the HYBE/BIGHIT usual employees/etc are hired in the album. It's all RM's own people and their recommendation. Mind you this isn't speculation but words stated by the leader himself. I am certain if the other members wanted their schedule to be difference, especially releasing their 2nd solo album, I am sure they obv would've taken a different route if there was an issue, this is not their first time, and RM already showed the way on how to go about releasing your solo album without being restricted by the company, etc. If the members really cared, they would've done something about it, but clearly they are content, it's just solos crying victim complex.

Just here to say that j-hope's "JACK IN THE BOX" was the most disruptive solo album in confront of BTS's musical style. It was as if, after the punch of Festa 2022 that stunned the fans, a slap arrived that woke them up (j-hope would hate these violent metaphors).
