The Coal story sound like it's happened more than once with destroying doors and PW huts. I knew a driver at Salisbury who started on BR as a fireman at Salisbury shed 72B, he was asked by the PW gang along the line for some coal in their hut, so the date & time when to kick a lump off the footplate for them was set. So the morning came along and Tom kicked off this huge lump of coal that bounced like a Barns-Wallis bouncing bomb through the PW huts wooden door and destroyed their tea room table. Meanwhile the gangers were jumping into the bushes to avoid all the coal pieces that were flying off this big lump, that was published in the 150 celebrations of the Salisbury to Gillingham of the Salisbury and Yeovil railway that part opened in 1859. Loving the plans for the future of the layout by the way many thanks to all seeing the behind the scenes to Mega points Dave and to You Peter wonderful stuff.
