that is not northeastern japan it's northern japan, they have heavily tilted the map so japan is shown laid out horizontally.

I know im very late. So does AI do a good job at development when you delegate the jobs to AI? I mostly did alot of things myself. Didnt do too badly until I had to fight two wars against Takeda and Useugi which meant I lost cuz my troops for some reason kept losing even tho my battles were very close. And my money and provisions kept dropping even tho i had a crap ton coming per month. Am playing as Oda Nobunaga cuz I love his position which is central which means I can go west or east.

bottle21716 i played the previous version. This focuses alot more on campaign (battle is just army blocks clashing) and HR management. as in, how/where you use your officers greatly determines the outcome

As i have just bought this game and have never played it before,this is about as far from a "tutorial",which is what "How to..." means,as you can get. I know less now than when i started. It's got more depth in management and campaign. Less depth on battles. More tactics based, less eye candy. Very historically accurate. It's more a game about planning and strategy than Shogun 2 which is more about winning battles. I love them both

The first nobunagas ambition came out in 1983 whereas the first total war came out in 2000 therefore total war would be a copy seeing as it came out 17 years after nobunagas ambition
